| Plastic water tanks
are the most popular use of plastic storage tanks. Our
water tanks are available in forest green or black in
color. These opaque colors block UV rays from coming in
contact with the stored water and limit the growth of
algae. The large sized water tanks offer especially good
values.
These tanks are rated for storing water only. |
Water Tank Resin:

| Our plastic water tanks are made
from FDA approved HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). High
Density Polyethylene is low in cost, corrosion resistance
and long lasting. HDPE is sometimes conveniently but
incorrectly referred to as
HDLPE to
indicate that it is made from a linear polyethylene rather
than crosslinked polyethylene. |
Standards:

| Our polyethylene water tanks meet
standards set by ASTM D 1998 for manufacturing. This
standard sets wall thickness requirements based on the size
of the tank and the properties of the resin used. |
| This tank complies
with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21CFR
177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 for storage of potable water. |
