Top Fill Line
A
very popular option on double wall chemical storage
tanks is a top
fill line. A top fill line allows a tank to be filled
without having a penetration in the tank sidewall for a
fitting. When you are looking at containments for
hazardous chemicals, not making holes in the sides of
the tank and containment is always a good idea.
Top Fill
Lines are equipped a Ball Valve to open and close the
flow and also a Ball Check Valve to keep liquid from
flowing back away from the tank. Anti-foam legs can be
included in the Top Fill Line for use with applications
that will foam if splashed on the surface.
A similar
tank option that we offer is a Top Discharge Line. Top
Discharge Lines allow you to pull liquid out of a tank
without making a penetration in the sidewall of the
primary and containment tanks.
